This is the image that lead me to the idea of an automated plant caretaker

I found this picture while looking for project ideas. When finding this I found that this didn't do more than just water the plant which isn't enough for me to keep a plant alive so I decided to upgrade it by adding a UV light and Heating system to keep the plant happy.
